The old glass is replaced by BENGglas with a U-value of 0.40 — up to ten times better insulating. Thanks to its slim construction, it fits effortlessly into the existing frames without changing the appearance. This way, every building is ready for the future, from monuments to social housing.

This atmospheric, 100-year-old building with original frames and doors has been made more sustainable with BENGglas Single Coated. Thanks to the ultra-thin construction of BENGglas (with an impressive U-value of 0.40), the authentic woodwork remained completely intact.

Sustainability of modern office building
In this new office building, BENGglas vacuum glass with a U-value of 0.40 was chosen. Thanks to the extremely good insulation, the building easily meets the BENG requirements — with fewer solar panels and a more compact heat pump.
That means: lower energy costs, less material usage, and up to €300 per m² subsidy via the EIA.

Together with Schildersbedrijf Donker, this house in Blokzijl has been fitted with BENG glass with a U-value of 0.40. This makes the house ready for the future — without losing its authentic appearance.
The living room is equipped with 6 windows with adhesive bars. This looks classic, insulates better than separate panes, and is more favorable in price. Heat and noise will stay outside from now on. Quite pleasant!
Commercial building to a new level: future-ready glass in multi-tenant building
Commissioned by Simons Bouw en Glas B.V., this business complex has been renovated with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old single glass (U=5.8) has been replaced by BENGglas with an insulation value of 0.40 — a significant step forward in comfort and energy efficiency. Thanks to the slim construction of only 8.3 mm, the glass could simply remain in the existing frames. So, no demolition work, but a building that can last for years to come.
The frames are not yet finished here, but the insulating power is already noticeable.
