Monumental customization in Assen: XXL window with BENG glass
In Assen, Schildersbedrijf Donker has measured the glass for a beautiful job on a monumental building. Eye-catcher? An impressive pane of nearly 2,500 x 2,000 mm at the front.
BENGglas with a single coating was chosen — color-neutral in appearance, but with a very strong insulation value of U=0.40.
The Golden Bend made sustainable with modern glass
Together with the Noord-Hollandse Glascentrale, the famous "Golden Bend" on the Herengracht is also becoming a bit more future-proof. The old single glass (U=5.8) is being replaced by BENG glass with a U-value of 0.40 — more than ten times better insulation.
Due to its slim construction, the vacuum glass fits into the existing frames without changing the appearance. And because this type has no visible cap, it is also an optically smart choice. Perfect for those who want to make their home more sustainable in style.
