BENGglas ranks in the top 5 at the FD Gazellen 2025 (small business category)
On November 25, 2025, the 22nd edition of the FD Gazellen Awards took place—the annual entrepreneurship awards presented by Het Financieel Dagblad to the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. In the “small” category, BENGglas secured a spot in the top 5. The ranking is based on three consecutive years of revenue growth, financial stability, and profitability.
Here’s how the ranking was determined
For the FD Gazellen Awards, companies are evaluated by region and revenue class based on three factors: revenue growth, increase in the number of employees, and profit margin. Each factor earns points, which together determine a company’s position in the final ranking.
The weighting is clear:
- 50% revenue growth
- 25% growth in headcount
- 25% profit margin
In the event of a tie, the strongest revenue growth is the deciding factor.
A growing role in the sustainability market
The FD Gazellen Awards are considered an important indicator of stable and sustainable growth. Companies must achieve at least 20% revenue growth for three consecutive years to be eligible. BENGglas’s top-5 ranking demonstrates that vacuum glazing has seen strong growth in recent years and that demand for energy-efficient glass solutions is on the rise.
Due to the shift toward glass with a low U-value and a lower carbon footprint, BENGglas is playing an increasingly important role in both renovation and new construction projects. BENGglas has established itself as a leading provider in this rapidly growing segment.
Recognition for the vacuum glazing market
The top-5 ranking underscores how rapidly the market for high-quality insulating glass is evolving. More and more homeowners and businesses are switching to solutions that combine both comfort and energy efficiency. BENGglas’s growth leading up to 2025 is closely aligned with this broader trend within the construction and renovation market.
