With BENGglas® vacuum glass, it’s possible to significantly improve existing homes without major modifications to the window frames. With a U-value (U=0.40), BENGglas® insulates up to three times better than standard HR++ glass (U=1.10). Thanks to its ultra-thin design, the glass fits into virtually any window frame and is ideal for renovation projects.

For this project, Hadeco chose BENGglas® Single Coated. This type has a lifespan of up to 50 years and also provides a significant improvement in sound insulation, with a reduction of up to -36 dB. The result is a quieter home, lower energy costs, a better energy rating, and noticeably greater living comfort.

In slechts 2 dagen tijd werden maar liefst 44 enkelglasruiten vervangen door BENGglas Double Coated met een indrukwekkende U-waarde van 0,40. Dankzij de superdunne 8,3 mm dikte paste het glas perfect in de bestaande kozijnen, zonder dat er iets aangepast hoefde te worden.

Wat levert dat op? Maximaal wooncomfort voor de bewoners, met topisolatie én een flinke geluidsdemping van maar liefst -36 dB. En als kers op de taart: een flinke boost voor het energielabel van deze prachtige woning.

In Schijndel, Hadeco Schilders gave this home a significant upgrade using BENGglas Single Coated with a U-value of U=0.40. The outdated insulating glass was replaced with ultra-thin vacuum glass measuring just 8.3 mm, allowing the existing window frames to remain in place.

After installation, the window frames were neatly finished and repainted, ensuring everything blends seamlessly together. The result is noticeable: up to three times better insulation, greater comfort in the home, and a solution that will last up to 50 years. This ensures the home is ready for the coming decades without the need for major renovations.
