Schildersbedrijf Hoskens

Glas & Schildersbedrijf Hoskens gave this beautiful monumental building a significant upgrade with BENGglas. The old single glass (U=5.80) was replaced with BENGglas with a U-value of only 0.40. Thanks to the slim thickness of 8.3 mm, the glass fit seamlessly into the existing frames. This way, the building enjoys a huge leap in insulation, while the authentic character is fully preserved. Maximum insulation, minimal impact!

In collaboration with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, this house in The Hague is completely ready for the future.
The old single glass (U = 5.8) has been replaced by vacuum glass from BENGglas with an insulation value of only 0.40. That means: up to ten times better insulation and immediately more comfort in the house.

The arched windows have also been replaced — in exactly the same shape, but with today's insulation value. This way, the appearance remains exactly as it was, but it feels much more pleasant inside.

Together with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, the single glazing of this apartment has been replaced with vacuum glass from BENGglas. This significantly reduces heat loss: with a U-value of up to 0.40, this glass insulates up to three times better than HR++ — and it fits perfectly into the existing frames.

Because the apartment is located on a busy street, the new glass also offers extra comfort. Thanks to the strong sound insulation of 36 to even 39 dB (in the laminated variant), it has become much quieter inside. And with an expected lifespan of 50 years, there is no need to worry about it for the time being. Very convenient.
